Ṣalāh

Jamʿ

Definition

Combining two prayers in one time-slot — Ẓuhr with ʿAṣr, or Maghrib with ʿIshāʾ.

Example

Jamʿ taqdīm — pray ʿAṣr with Ẓuhr in Ẓuhr's time. Jamʿ taʾkhīr — delay Ẓuhr and pray it with ʿAṣr in ʿAṣr's time.
