Makrūh

Definition

Disliked — rewarded if avoided, not sinful if done. Makrūh taḥrīmī (Ḥanafī) is close to ḥarām.

Example

Praying while food is served and one is hungry; fidgeting in ṣalāh; eating onion or garlic before going to the mosque.
