Ṣalāh

تكبيرة الإحرام

Takbīrat al-Iḥrām

Definition

The opening Allāhu Akbar that consecrates one into the prayer.

Example

Without it the ṣalāh has not begun; it must be said while standing and aloud enough to be heard by oneself.
