Leaving what does not concern you

Arabic

مِنْ حُسْنِ إِسْلَامِ الْمَرْءِ تَرْكُهُ مَا لَا يَعْنِيهِ.

Translation

Part of the beauty of a person's Islam is leaving alone that which does not concern him.

Commentary

A diagnostic hadith. How much of our scrolling, speaking, arguing is about matters that will not stand for us on the Day of Judgement? Excellence in Islam is as much about subtraction as addition.
