Iʿtikāf

Definition

Seclusion in the mosque for worship — sunnah in the last ten days of Ramadan.

Example

The Prophet ﷺ would enter the mosque after Fajr of the 20th and not emerge until ʿĪd — seeking Laylat al-Qadr.
