Wuḍūʾ
Definition
Ritual ablution required before ṣalāh, ṭawāf and reciting the Qur'an from the muṣḥaf.
Example
Sequence: bismillāh, wash hands, rinse mouth, inhale water into nose, wash face, wash arms to elbows, wipe head and ears, wash feet to ankles — each three times where specified.
