Iḥsān

Definition

Excellence in worship — to worship Allah as though you see Him, and if you do not see Him, to know He sees you.

Example

Iḥsān in ṣalāh is khushūʿ; in speech it is avoiding backbiting; in work it is doing the task well even when no one is watching.
