ʿAqīdah

Qadar

Definition

Divine decree — Allah's knowledge, writing, will and creation of all that was, is and will be.

Example

Qadar has four levels: knowledge (ʿilm), writing (kitābah), will (mashīʾah), and creation (khalq). The servant still chooses — and is accountable for — his own actions.
