Stories of the Prophets

Seven prophets, seven Qurʾānic narratives, seven lessons — one a day.

Coming soon

This plan's lessons are being sourced and reviewed. Every entry will carry primary references (Bukhārī, Muslim, Abū Dāwud, Tirmidhī, Nasāʾī, Ibn Mājah, Aḥmad) and graded against the rulings of al-Albānī and Shuʿayb al-Arnaʾūṭ where scholars differ. We publish a plan once that work is done — not before.

Duration

Each lesson takes around 6 minutes. 7 lessons total — designed to be read one a day.

Description

The Qurʾān returns to the stories of the prophets again and again — not as history for its own sake, but as a mirror. Their trials reflect ours. Their patience reveals what patience actually looks like. Their tawḥīd, refined under pressure, shows the shape of the only thing that matters.

This plan walks through seven of those stories in seven days: Ādam and the first repentance, Nūḥ and the long patience, Ibrāhīm and the friendship of Allah, Yūsuf and trust in qadar, Mūsā and standing before tyranny, Yūnus and the duʿā of the belly of the whale, and Muḥammad ﷺ — the seal who carries them all.

Topics covered

  • Ādam — the first repentance and the meaning of forgetting
  • Nūḥ — patience that lasted 950 years
  • Ibrāhīm — the four trials and the title of Khalīl
  • Yūsuf — being wronged, being trusted, and forgiving anyway
  • Mūsā — confronting Pharaoh with one ask
  • Yūnus — the duʿā of the belly of the whale
  • Muḥammad ﷺ — the seal of the prophets and the mercy to the worlds
