Definition
Submission to Allah through the five pillars — shahādah, ṣalāh, zakāh, ṣawm, and ḥajj.
Example
The Prophet ﷺ said Islām is built on five; in the Hadith of Jibrīl, Islām is the outward submission, īmān the inward belief, and iḥsān the spiritual refinement.
