Title

Speak good or be silent

Translation

Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, let him speak good or remain silent. Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, let him be generous to his neighbour. Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, let him honour his guest.

Commentary

Three domains in a single sentence — speech, neighbours, guests. Each begins with 'whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day' as a test: if either part of that belief is shaky, the corresponding conduct will slip.
