يَا عِبَادِي، إِنِّي حَرَّمْتُ الظُّلْمَ عَلَى نَفْسِي وَجَعَلْتُهُ بَيْنَكُمْ مُحَرَّمًا، فَلَا تَظَالَمُوا …

Translation

O My servants, I have forbidden oppression for Myself and made it forbidden among you — so do not oppress one another. O My servants, all of you are hungry except those I have fed, so seek food from Me and I will feed you. All of you are naked except those I have clothed, so seek clothing from Me. You sin night and day and I forgive all sins, so seek forgiveness and I will forgive you …

Commentary

A ḥadīth qudsī — the Prophet ﷺ narrating Allah's own speech. It reframes our lives: we are not self-sufficient, we are His guests. Every meal, every breath, every forgiven sin is His hospitality.
