Ṭahārah

Ḥadath

Definition

Ritual impurity of the body. Minor (removed by wuḍūʾ) or major (removed by ghusl).

Example

Minor: passing wind, urine, stool, deep sleep. Major: janābah, menstruation, postpartum bleeding.
