  1. Ayat al-Kursi

Allāhu lā ilāha illā huwa, al-Ḥayyu al-Qayyūm. Lā taʾkhudhuhū sinatun wa lā nawm. Lahu mā fī as-samāwāti wa mā fī al-arḍ. Man dhā alladhī yashfaʿu ʿindahū illā bi-idhnih.

Allah — there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of existence. Neither drowsiness overtakes Him nor sleep. To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and the earth. Who is it that can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is before them and what will be after them, and they encompass not a thing of His knowledge except for what He wills. His Kursī extends over the heavens and the earth, and their preservation tires Him not. And He is the Most High, the Most Great.

About the Adhkār

What are the morning and evening adhkar?+
They are the daily remembrances the Prophet Muḥammad (peace be upon him) taught his companions to recite twice a day — after Fajr until sunrise, and after ʿAṣr until Maghrib. They include Qurʾānic verses, Prophetic supplications and short words of dhikr, each with a specific reward.
When exactly should I recite them?+
Morning adhkar: between Fajr and sunrise is ideal; the window extends until midday if you miss it. Evening adhkar: between ʿAṣr and Maghrib is ideal; the window extends until the first third of the night. The tracker auto-switches windows at 12:00 local time, but you can switch manually.
Why different repeat counts — 1, 3, 7, 100?+
Every count comes directly from the wording of the hadith. The Prophet ﷺ specified the exact repetition for each dhikr and a specific reward tied to that count — e.g. SubhanAllahi wa-bi-ḥamdih 100× wipes out the foam of the sea in sins; the three Quls × 3 suffices you from everything. Changing the count changes the prescribed virtue.
Does my progress save if I close the tab?+
Yes — your count for today is saved in your browser's localStorage and will still be there when you come back. It clears automatically at the start of each new day, so you begin with a fresh slate every morning. Nothing is sent to a server.
Where are these from?+
The corpus follows Saʿīd ibn ʿAlī ibn Wahf al-Qaḥṭānī's Ḥiṣn al-Muslim (Fortress of the Muslim), cross-checked against Sahih al-Bukhari, Sahih Muslim, Abu Dawud, Tirmidhi, Nasa'i, Ibn Majah and Ahmad. Every card shows the full source reference; most are graded ṣaḥīḥ or ḥasan.
Can I do it after the ideal time has passed?+
Yes. The scholars say the adhkar remain recommended throughout the day until the next window opens — but their fullest reward is tied to the prescribed window. If you wake late or get caught up, still recite them. The consistent habit is worth more than the perfect timing of a single day.
What if I'm travelling or ill?+
Do what you can. If you cannot recite all of them, recite the core three — Ayat al-Kursi, the three Quls (Ikhlāṣ, Falaq, Nās) and the supplication for protection. These alone fulfil the essential protection hadith.
